As of July 1, 2024, Clover Psychological Association has become Guiding Changes Counseling, LLC, directed and owned by Tanya B. Stahlman, MS NCC Licensed Professional Counselor. The address, phone number and fax number remain the same.
Cathy L. Clover, MA, Licensed Psychologist is semi-retiring after 46 years of practice. I will continue to provide evaluations and individual counseling at the New Castle office.
We are all excited about the future and continuing to provide services to these specialized and important clients.
I want to express my deepest appreciation to our clients who over the years have shown incredible resilience and courage to look at themselves openly and honestly, to become healthy, productive, caring persons, who have faced the hurt in their childhoods, the harm they have caused others, and shown the courage to be accountable to society and themselves.
To the probation and parole officers, agencies, Lawrence County Mental Health and Disabilities Services, other mental health professionals, the public defenders, DAs, judges, and so many others that have collaborated with me over these 46 years, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being patient with this "fringe" psychologist who believes in the inherent goodness of all people, even those who have harmed others. Thank you for allowing me to educate, encourage, and pester you all to serve those who have sexually harmed or engaged in interpersonal violence.
I will continue to work for Guiding Changes on a part-time basis over the next year or so and will be available for consultation. I can't fully retire as I love working with our clients.
